Drug Dog’s debut album Sniffin’ Around is straightforward and stylish rock. Born from a maelstrom of chaos and loud sound, Drug Dog also has its moments of calm, showcasing Elisa’s vocal versatility. The pack moves in mysterious ways.
Throughout the album, Drug Dog plays with a real thump and a love for human—or sometimes even animal—imperfection. To capture that vibe, Teemu Korpipää, who feels most at home where the meters run red, recorded the debut LP with a Tascam cassette recorder. The magnetic tape beautifully captured the band’s live energy.
Sniffin’ Around album was released digitally on May 16, and on vinyl next week, on May 28, 2025.
The first single, Strobolights (released May 2), offered a flashing, fuzzed-out glimpse of what was coming—and now the full-length is finally here.
